Fingerling Potatoes

April 8, 2009

So last night was officially the first time I have ever eaten a fingerling potato. Let me tell you, they were good. I loved how much they both were and weren’t exactly like regular potatoes. A very creamy texture, but when you bite in they snap. These were prepared with garlic, onion, rosemary, and butter. So good.. thinking about making hash browns with the leftovers. Next on the plate was simply roasted red beets. A delicious treat that definitely never stains your fingers. Then we have brussel sprouts. We love them. We cooked them with garlic, onion, chives, and vegetable stock. Finally, the ‘protein’ of the meal. One Morningstar bbq riblet. Fresh outta the microwave. Overall, another great meal.
